Sai Htong Kham, a graduate of the University Foundation Program, has been selected to receive a full scholarship from Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIED). He will begin his study for a bachelor of Social Science Education (Greater China Studies) in August 2014.
Originally from Eastern Shan State, Sai Htong Kham studied and graduated High School in 2008 from No.1 Basic Education High School in Kyaing Tong. After the high school, he joined Mandalay University of Distance Education and studied at its Kyaing Tong Branch for three years. Sai Htong Kham earned his Bachelor Degree B.A (Eng) in March 2014. In 2013, he came to the Kant Kaw Education Centre and joined the University Foundation Program. While attending UFP, he was introduced to Hong Kong Undergraduate Scholarship program (HKUG) by Scholarships and Student Support Department (SSSD). “I couldn't be happier to be receiving a full scholarship from HKUG to study in Hong Kong,” said Sai Htong Kham. “I liked even more to enroll in the Bachelor of Social Science Education (Honors) (Greater China Studies) program since it teaches social science in general and covers a lot of development issues,” he said. |
