At Thabyay, 85% of our expenditure directly supports our programs
Thabyay is a not-for-profit educational foundation registered with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Home Affairs in Myanmar. We are committed to providing comprehensive educational and professional services in support of human development, peace and reconciliation in Myanmar.
Our leadership, staff, partners and the communities we serve include people of all ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs. Our funding comes from a mix of individuals, family foundations and institutional donors. Since our founding in 1996, the Open Society Foundations, Prospect Burma, the BK Kee Foundations and the Helmsley Charitable Trust have been primary supporters of our programs as well as administration.
